We have the wonderful opportunity to organize the meeting in the Certosa of Pontignano, located at about 10 kilometres far from Siena, in the region of Chianti.

The fee should be as small as 500.000 italian lire all inclusive, even considering a possible social event in Siena. In addition, we are going to reduce the fee via sponsorships.

Unfortunately, due to the beautiful setting and the limited costs the Certosa of Portignano is very much in demand. In April, 2002 we can have two possibilities:

1. 12-15 April,
2. 19-22 April.

The dates are conditioned by the authorization of the Chairman of the University of Siena.

Please contact Alberto Porta as soon as possible to give your opinion about this place as the seat of the second ESGCO meeting . Moreover, we need to know if you want to visit it and if there is any problem with the above mentioned dates (e.g. superposition with other events).
